In practice, we liked the fact that the shoe can be adjusted using the twist lock in the centre of the tongue. Overall, the upper shoe is sturdily made and the heel hold is very good. On very hot days, the shoe, which weighs just under 700 grams (per pair in size 43), is relatively warm due to the firm material. Reflective material on the heel and the screw-on rubber heel are further useful details, and there is a choice of five colours.
