As with the Italians' top models, which are twice as expensive, the upper material is made from the same high-quality Microtex and is finished to the same high standard. Hardly any savings have been made on the features either. The cycling shoe is adjusted with a two-way Boa dial and a Velcro strap, the tongue is fully padded over the instep and is also very vapour permeable. You can walk well on the wide rubber studs on the sole, and the large area of reflective material increases visibility in traffic. The cheaper price is only noticeable in the soles. They are made of reinforced plastic instead of carbon, which makes them slightly less stiff and comparatively heavy (600 grams pair weight for size 43.5). But that's complaining on a high level: we liked the shoe, which is available in four colour variants, straight away thanks to its comfortable size adjustment and elegant appearance.
