With the UNITY Cold26 collection, Gobik is launching a layering system for winter riding. The Spanish company from Yecla developed the collection under the "OXYGEN" concept - analogous to the vital oxygen, UNITY is intended to form the basis of every Winter clothing (Knowledge) form. The collection combines waterproof membranes, technical fabrics and customised cuts for protection, vapour permeability and comfort in winter environments.
The development focussed on a modular system that allows cyclists to combine different layers depending on the weather conditions. Gobik utilises experience from equipping professional teams such as INEOS Grenadiers, UAE Team Emirates and Movistar Team. The company was founded in 2010 in response to the Yecla cycling club's need for customised race clothing and has developed into a supplier to international WorldTour teams.
The design concept of the UNITY collection is based on three principles that combine aesthetics and performance. Block Built applies architectural geometry to garment construction - modular panels and sharp cuts improve fit and freedom of movement. This construction method enables targeted placement of different materials where they are needed most.
Halftones introduce depth and rhythm through broken lines and dynamic contrasts that reflect the visual tension of cycling at high speed. The third element, Houndstooth, reinterprets the classic textile motif in modern scales and textures. This combination creates garments that appear sculptural but remain highly functional. Gobik thus achieves a balance between aerodynamic functionality and visual sophistication.
The Superarmour Jacket is the top product in the collection and uses eVent DVstorm membrane for waterproof and windproof performance. The combination with Polartec Alpha insulation enables active thermoregulation down to -8°C. This jacket is aimed at riders who are out and about in the most extreme winter conditions. The eVent DVstorm technology ensures breathability even under high exertion.
The Skimo Solid Jacket develops a tried-and-tested model further and integrates a Polartec Power Shield Pro membrane with a 10,000 mm water column and 12,000 g/m²/24h breathability. The three-layer construction balances insulation, water repellence and ventilation for universal winter use. The Element Jacket uses Polartec Power Shield for performance-orientated riders in medium to low temperatures with a streamlined Perfect Fit cut.
The Pathfinder Gilet completes the system as a versatile, minimalist winter gilet made from three-layer Polartec fabric. It offers wind and water-repellent protection while maintaining breathability. This gilet is suitable for changeable conditions or as an additional layer in a layering system. The construction allows compact stowage in jersey pockets.
The Grit Cargo Bib Tights combine thermal insulation and water resistance with extended storage space. Mesh and Lycra cargo pockets and reflective panels make them the complete solution for winter riding in all conditions. The Hyperguard Gloves utilise seamless knit construction with TPU membrane, while the Seal Overshoes are made from 3mm smooth neoprene. These components complete the layering system for complete winter protection.
The UNITY Cold26 collection will be available worldwide from 6 October 2025 via gobik.com and retail partners. Gobik is positioning the collection as a foundation for every winter rider, regardless of the conditions. The company uses its experience from 15 years of cycling clothing and equipping professional teams for the development.
The collection reflects Gobik's development from a local club supplier to an international brand company. Since it was founded in 2010 by the Yecla cycling club, the company has specialised in the customisation of cycling clothing. The partnership with teams such as FDJ-Suez and, since 2024, INEOS Grenadiers has been incorporated into product development and ensures tried-and-tested solutions for demanding winter conditions.
