Q36.5 is expanding its triathlon range with a capsule collection developed in collaboration with Norwegian triathlete Casper Stornes. According to the company, insights gained from the 2025/2026 season have been incorporated into the two products in the range.
The focus is on the Dottore Speed TRI Skinsuit Casper Stornes and the Gregarius Clima Jersey Casper Stornes. Both models feature the ‘Lava Print’ graphic theme, which is said to be inspired by the volcanic landscapes of Hawaii. The design also incorporates the characteristic shades of blue from Stornes’ personal logo.
The collection is available in limited quantities via the manufacturer’s website and from selected specialist retailers.
A skinsuit designed with a focus on drying and thermoregulation
The Dottore Speed TRI Skinsuit Casper Stornes is the first commercially available model in a new generation of triathlon competition suits. Development began in October 2025 with wind tunnel tests. According to the company, the suit was subsequently revised in four design stages.
The design incorporated both measurement data and feedback from several competitions. The production version features a front zip and back pockets. According to Q36.5, the materials used are the same as those developed for Stornes’ competition kit.
The leg sections are made from Dottore-P, a polyester fabric designed to enhance water-repellent properties, reduce drying time after swimming and provide compression.
The upper body is made from a micro-perforated, aerodynamic fabric with a weight of 80 grams per square metre. The 8-millimetre ribbed sleeves and a back panel made from polyester-graphene yarn are designed to support adaptation to physical exertion and heat management.
Lightweight jersey for hot race days
The Gregarius Clima Casper Stornes jersey is designed for intense use in high temperatures. The construction combines three different fabrics. Mesh panels on the chest and back are designed to improve heat dissipation.
The sleeves are made from a 6-millimetre ribbed fabric. Combined with Q36.5’s raglan cut, this is designed to provide a fit that allows for freedom of movement. The back pockets are made from Power Mesh to ensure breathability is maintained even when fully loaded. According to the manufacturer, the jersey weighs 110 grams.
Two models, different areas of focus
Luigi Bergamo, founder and head of development at Q36.5, emphasises that the two garments are not intended to compete directly with one another. Rather, differences in design and fit are intended to suit different uses and preferences.
The collection therefore follows an approach that is often crucial in performance-oriented clothing: aerodynamics, ventilation, compression and freedom of movement cannot be maximised independently of one another. Depending on the discipline, temperature and personal preference, different solutions may therefore be appropriate.
