Raindrops simply roll off. So your bum and thighs stay dry
Short rain trousers can't protect your entire leg from the wet, but they can protect your bum and thighs - keeping your muscles dry and efficient. Our test shows just how practical these shorts are.

In our test of short to three-quarter length rain trousers, we tested a total of five representatives from the brands Endura, Gonso, Gore Bike Wear, Löffler and Vaude. The cheapest candidate from Gonso costs 60 euros, the most expensive trousers at 150 euros come from the Gore Bike Wear range. Two are cut short (Gore Bike Wear, Löffler), the other three reach over the knee, with Gonso and Vaude both having versions in their programmes.

Four of the five candidates received very good marks from us in the categories of weather protection, comfort, features and workmanship. Only the Lanin model from Gonso shows weaknesses. Find out which trousers could be an option for training in the rain or commuting to work in the March issue of TOUR.

The test results of these short rain trousers can be found below as a PDF download:

- Endura Helius 3/4 trousers
- Gonso Lanin
- Gore Bike Wear Alp-X 3.0 GT AS Shorts
- Löffler Men's Bike Shorts GTX Active
- Vaude Men's Spray 3/4 Pants II
