Rapha has added the Lightweight Bibshorts to its range for hot days.

Compared to the standard trousers, these weigh only 165 grams instead of 215 grams in size L, which is achieved by a very thin trouser fabric, light mesh straps and a comparatively large back cut-out. The summer shorts are slightly smaller than you would expect from Rapha. The test riders noted that the very elasticated fabric does not hold the padding in place as well, which can restrict comfort. The two additional seams on the left trouser leg, just above the waistband where the Rapha logo is located, are also somewhat annoying.

PLUS Airy fabric for hot days
MINUS Trouser fabric does not hold pads securely in position
