Race Proven Bibshort Skinprotect promises special protection in the event of a fall
Skin abrasions are painful and the healing process often takes a long time. The Belgian manufacturer Bioracer promises better protection against these typical consequences of a crash with its new "Race Proven Bibshort Skinprotect".

The special feature is the protective material placed on the sides of the thighs and in the coccyx area. The Dutch company DSM Dyneema supplies the extremely tensile and tear-resistant material, which is also used for high-performance sails or bulletproof vests. In practice, the high wearing comfort of the elasticated material, which does not crease, is impressive; you do not sweat more than under normal trousers. The material withstood an abrasion test on tarmac without any problems, but there may still be open areas at the fabric transitions. The only annoying thing about the trousers is the thick seam at the transition to the otherwise elasticated, wide leg cuffs.

PLUS high wearing comfort; increased protection
MINUS Noticeable seam above the leg cuffs; can initially only be ordered as teamwear from five pieces upwards

Price 120 Euro (from 5 pieces cheaper)
