Gorewear has revised its Long Distance Bib Shorts and brought them up to date with the latest trouser technology. The proportion of seams is said to have been reduced by a full 50 per cent. The seat pad has also been updated in collaboration with Elastic Interface and should now offer even better support on long distances. A slightly higher waistband and new leg cuffs without seams are intended to improve the fit and increase comfort.
There are silicone prints under the seamless cuffs to improve the hold on the thigh. The straps of the Gorewear Distance Bib Shorts+ 2.0 are made entirely from a mesh fabric, have no seams and are designed to wick sweat away from the body more quickly. Large reflective prints on the thighs ensure good visibility in traffic.

When you slip them on, you immediately let out a relaxed mmmhhhh. The finely knitted, lightweight fabric of the Gorewear is almost outrageously comfortable and feels like a second skin. The wide straps fit neatly over the shoulders without having to adjust them much, and they distribute the pull over a relatively large area. The trouser legs also keep their shape when pedalling. The construction of the Gorewear also prevents material from bunching and pinching in the crook of the leg. The airy straps keep the seat pad neatly in place.
Good comfort thanks to padding
The padding itself is also comfortable, not too thick, but nice and firm. This promises comfort even on long rides in the saddle. An ingenious detail: a windstopper material trim in the intimate area prevents the rider from cooling down on long descents.
