Luminous Sealskinz overshoes in the TOUR test
Sealskinz is known for its waterproof socks. Now the British company from Norfolk is presenting an overshoe with flashing lights for the first time.

The highlight of the 150 gram Halo Overshoe made from Kevlar-reinforced neoprene material is the integrated flashing lights on the heel, which significantly improve visibility in road traffic. According to the manufacturer, the CR2032 button cells provide a light duration of 240 hours and should therefore easily survive the winter. During our practical test, the lights reliably withstood constant water spray. The overshoes are easy to put on thanks to the open design at the bottom with Velcro fastener and zip on the inside. However, they do not protect the sole area from moisture and cold.
