When sun, wind and rain are constantly alternating, arm and leg warmers promise flexible protection. TOUR presents six concepts.

De marchi Classici Merino Warmers

The overshoes are made from a blend of merino wool and synthetics, are tightly knitted and machine washable. They are a normal size and the waistband with silicone trim keeps them in place on the arms and legs. Although the cuffs offer hardly any protection from wind or rain, they do provide some warmth and are very vapour permeable. Best suited for dry weather and temperatures around ten degrees.

Gore Shield arm warmers and leg warmers

The Shield Warmers each have a thin, windproof and water-repellent membrane on the front that protects against wind and light rain; thanks to elasticated Lycra on the back, they are comfortable to wear. Arm- like Leg warmers very comfortable. Between around 5 and 15 degrees Celsius with showers or drizzle, the cuffs work like a protective shield. They are a normal size and are nice and long for both the arms and legs.

Warmers Thermo from Löffler

With an extra layer of Roubaix material as an insulating layer, Löffler's cuffs are warm even when it's close to freezing. However, the elasticated, well-fitting overgarments are not suitable for wet conditions as they are not impregnated or equipped with a membrane. The fit is normal, the Leg warmers are very easy to put on and take off thanks to the zip at the bottom of the waistband.

Q36.5 UV-Armlight arm warmers

The 32 gram and very thin arm warmers are not designed to keep you warm and dry, but to protect you from UV radiation and have a cooling effect thanks to the silver threads woven into them. This effect is easily noticeable in practice, provided you can get used to wearing sleeves in midsummer. The material is elasticated to a tight fit and the size is normal.

Rose Seamless III

The arm- and Leg warmers from the "Seamless" range are seamless, extremely elastic and very favourably priced. Due to the lack of waterproofing or a membrane, their use is limited to dry and rather mild days; they are the ideal quick cover-up for downhill runs. Fit and comfort are very good.

Sportful Fiandre Warmers

The "Flanders" warmers from Sportful are water-repellent impregnated, rain drops roll off permanently. The tried and tested principle works on Arm- and leg warmers, which keep you warm even at temperatures just above zero degrees thanks to the Roubaix lining. Nevertheless, they are very vapour permeable, which makes them ideal for intensive training and competitions even in bad weather.
