Test 2016: Winter jersey from Alé for road cyclists
The lightweight "Clima Protection" 2.0 winter jersey from Alé is characterised by high functionality, an emphatically close-fitting cut and top workmanship.
The windproof, fairly thin material with a fleece lining works best in temperatures between 5 and 10 degrees; we usually wore it in combination with a long-sleeved vest. The tight collar closes well at the neck. The covered zip can be operated with one hand. A slightly raised waistband made from neoprene prevents the fabric from bulging in the chest area. The jersey is cut slightly longer at the back. Reflective piping guarantees good visibility, which we particularly appreciated during several night rides on brevets. An absolute favourite that still looks like new even after a year of intensive use and many washes.
