If you want to design your own jersey, you can let off steam as a designer with Sportful's new online configurator. At the start of our test in April, four different jerseys for men and women were available; our tester opted for the Supergiara model. The configurator offers the option of customising various layouts, colours, patterns and the zip colour. This can take several hours, depending on how playful you are and how much you want to decide. After submitting the order, it took six weeks for delivery, with the manufacturer stating a delivery time of up to eight weeks.
In between, I received a status email saying that the jersey was in the printing phase and would then be ready for dispatch. In addition to the design, the lightweight summer jersey has a cut that is well adapted to the racing bike position. The highlight is the double jersey pockets: The outer ones made of elasticated mesh material are positioned in front of the three pockets made of jersey material. This makes it easier to keep things tidy. The zip runs smoothly and can be operated with one hand - however, as there is no zip garage, the handle sometimes gets in the way.
