The club set consists of a racing cap, jersey, trousers and socks in black with pink and light blue stripes - made in Italy, of course. The jersey impresses with its comfortable material and a cut perfectly adapted to the racing position; a silicone print on the waistband keeps the discreet jersey in place, the cuffs are elasticated and fit slim and strong arms perfectly. We didn't find the trousers quite as good. The seat pad and braces are good, but the many circumferential seams on the trouser legs and waistband are annoying, especially if you have thicker thighs. At 400 euros, the price for this elegantly understated outfit is pretty steep (the cap and socks are included, after all), but you get a free espresso or two if you take it to the Monaco Velo Club.
