The Cologne-based brand Ryzon is to become the official kit partner of the UCI Women’s WorldTeam Canyon//SRAM. Ryzon has entered into its first partnership with a WorldTour team in women’s cycling. The Cologne-based sportswear brand is now supplying kit to Canyon//SRAM. Together with Canyon, SRAM and Zwift, Ryzon is thus supplying kit to a world-class team for the first time. For the brand, which has been in existence since 2016, this marks a logical continuation of its mission to support athletes from their very first ride right through to the very top of the sport.

Kit and female riders

The new kit in the WeFemmes design is making its racing debut on the first stage of the Tour de France Femmes with Zwift. Among others, Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney, winner of the 2024 Tour de France Femmes, will be presenting the jersey. Antonia Niedermaier, runner-up in the Giro d’Italia Women, and the 21-year-old British road and time trial champion Zoe Bäckstedt will make their Tour debuts in the new kit. The WeFemmes Collection featuring a replica jersey for 130 euros and The casual shirt, priced at 60 euros, is already available online here.

sense of community

WeFemmes breaks away from the professional peloton and beyond, into a movement. Community rides, a workshop and a watch party are designed to foster a sense of togetherness. Mario Konrad, founder of Ryzon, emphasises that the partnership is not about the brand itself, but about a vision that goes far beyond traditional sponsorship. Beth Duryea, co-owner and marketing and communications manager at Canyon//SRAM, sees the WeFemmes jersey as a celebration of how far women’s cycling has come.
