The comfortable cut of the Como Jacket from De Marchi also flatters larger builds. However, during the ride and especially on fast descents, the jacket puffed up a little and the material flapped on the shoulders. Therefore, choose a size that fits well on the body! Otherwise, the wind jacket fulfils all the tasks for which it is made: the wind stays out, water rolls off almost completely and you stay dry for a long time even in light showers.
Three back pockets plus a small zip pocket are practical - even when all the pockets are fully loaded, a wide gel waistband prevents the jacket from riding up at the back. With a weight of 170 grams (size L), the Como Jacket from De Marchi is somewhat heavier and its pack size is larger than that of very light wind jackets. A little more reflective material would make it even more visible in traffic.
+ Comfortable to wear, very water-repellent, back pockets
- Reflective material, tends to flutter
