The new wind jacket from Campagnolo is added to the range for the transitional season. TOUR tested the Croce D'Aune.

Campagnolo has sorted the Croce D'Aune into the range for the transitional period. It's also a good choice there - if it's not too cold. The thin material has hardly any insulating effect, which is why we recommend a long and warm vest at temperatures below 15 degrees. After a few test rides, we can attest to the very good wind protection and decent moisture protection of the lightweight and elasticated jacket in size L, which repels rain well.

After three washes, however, the effect diminished noticeably, making it necessary to freshen it up with a suitable waterproofing agent. The testers praised the jacket for its cut, which is very well adapted to the racing bike position - for slim upper bodies. A low tendency to flutter, very usable back pockets and the smooth-running zip are further plus points of the comparatively expensive overcoat, which is only available in the red-brown colour shown.
