With this in mind, we browsed through the wide range of products and selected the Revo Jacket softshell jacket and the Vertical Bibtight long trousers for our practical test. The numerous features of the jacket immediately catch the eye: elasticated cuffs keep the wrists warm; the elbows and underarms are pleasantly elasticated so that the jacket can follow your every move. The water-repellent windbreaker protects the front and rear from wind and moisture. If it gets too warm, you can cool your body with two adjustable air vents with zip fasteners. At the rear, there are two narrow side pockets, a larger centre pocket and a zipped pocket for small items. Plenty of reflective material makes the already eye-catching fluorescent jacket extremely visible to other road users. The cut of the jacket is very good, just a little short at the rear.
The Vertical Bibtight made of brushed fabric is less technical. Without windproof or water-repellent material, it is only suitable for dry, cool days. The seat pad is cut very short and tight at the front, which is why a long vest is recommended as an additional insulator against draughts. The straps are very elasticated and well guided, so you hardly feel them under your vest. The non-padded zips at the bottom of the legs are a little scratchy. Reflective material improves visibility.
