Löffler is expanding its range with the new "Skys" gravel collection for the spring/summer 2026 season. The collection has been specially designed to meet the diverse requirements of the Gravel biking and, according to the manufacturer, should offer optimum performance on all surfaces from tarmac to gravel and mud. The name "SKYS" stands for "Between Sky & Sand" and symbolises the boundless freedom of gravel sports. During development, Löffler worked together with Velo Kartell, a group of four bike enthusiasts with both racing and adventure experience. The collection includes Jerseys, jackets, shorts and T-shirts in various designs.
The Bike Jersey FZ Skys Hotbond RF L/S is available in men's and women's versions and offers plenty of storage space for multi-day tours with six pockets. It is made from the company's own Race Elastic material, which Company headquarters in Ried (Austria) is knitted. The material is multi-elastic and highly breathable. Features include an aero collar, profile full zip, a triple back pocket with additional narrow side pockets and a small side seam pocket with zip. The hotBOND reflective cuffs ensure good visibility at dusk. The jersey comes with detachable sleeves and is available in women's sizes 34-46 (colours: Cottage, Bordeaux) and men's sizes 46-56 (colours: Cottage, Sahara) at a price of 129.99 euros.
The lighter Bike Jersey FZ Skys Escape is designed for summer temperatures and features a robust profile zip and a new collar solution. It comes with the Oeko-Tex Made In Green certificate, which stands for environmentally friendly and fair production, pollutant-free materials and transparent supply chains. The Skys Bibshorts XT for men and the strapless version for women offer plenty of storage space with two side and two rear open pockets. The fabric from Löffler's own knitting mill ensures a pleasant compression effect. The Elastic-Interlock material is knitted at the company's headquarters in Ried and is characterised by its lightness and quick-drying properties. The men's version has elasticated mesh straps and a protective Transtex lining in the kidney area. Both versions have open-cut elasticated leg hems with silicone grippers and are equipped with Comfort Extreme seat padding. The material is lightweight, elasticated, quick-drying and water and dirt repellent with a PFC-free finish. The shorts feature 4-way stretch, waistband adjustment with side hooks, zip fly, two open side pockets, a zip thigh pocket and two mesh pockets on the back of the trousers. It is windproof and water-repellent and, according to the manufacturer, is perfect for all gravel rides. When worn as a gilet, the shoulders also remain covered to provide sufficient wind protection. Thanks to its mini pack size and small internal storage pocket, it can be stowed away quickly and is always ready to hand. The windshell material is an ultra-light ripstop fabric with a very small packing volume. The jacket has ventilation openings in the back, zip-off sleeves, a stand-up collar, a concealed 2-way front zip, a zipped back pocket with reflector and a small stowage pocket on the inside. The reflective and elasticated cuffs and elasticated waistband round off the design. The shirt is comfortable to wear, elasticated, breathable and quick-drying. It has a casual, wide cut with longer sleeves, a round neck and a patch zip pocket on the side. As a sportswear specialist, Löffler continues to focus on regional textile production in Austria and Europe. At its headquarters in Ried im Innkreis, Austria, the company produces around 70 per cent of the fabrics it uses itself. Most of the other production steps such as product development, cutting, sewing, quality control, warehousing and dispatch also take place there. Only for the sewing work does the brand buy in capacity from its own subsidiary in Bulgaria and from partner companies exclusively in Europe.
