We tried out the lightweight wind and rain jacket U-Lite Rain Jacket. Weighing 130 grams (in size M), this very flexible, water-repellent jacket cuts a "bella figura" on the bike, as it is cut close to the body. It fits snugly at the front, the long back covers the buttocks, the collar is soft and fits snugly. Another positive feature is the extensive use of reflective material, which increases safety in road traffic. The inexpensive jacket protects against wind and spray, but despite the mesh inserts on the sides and back, it is not very vapour permeable. Even at moderate temperatures, it quickly becomes damp on the inside.
