The Venom Go from Hyperice
Sometimes you have places on your body that pinch or are tense. The Venom Go from Hyperice can help. TOUR tried out the heat and vibration device.

The Venom Go is a flexible, compact heat and vibration device designed to relieve localised muscle tension. It combines a heat patch with massage, which can be applied to an area measuring five by five centimetres. The heat pad is stuck to the area to be treated and the battery-operated box is fixed in place - this is easily done using a magnetic fastener. The vibration and heat intensity can each be set to three levels, resulting in nine different combinations of heat and vibration. Our tester used it to treat a tense muscle area on her shoulder.

What's the point?

Result: Heat and vibration have a pleasant and somewhat more intensive effect than just a heat patch, comparable to a gentle pressure massage with a warming cream. The manufacturer claims a battery life of one hour; in our test on the medium setting, the battery was empty after 45 minutes. The scope of delivery includes three pads with 20 adhesive surfaces each, which corresponds to a total of 60 applications; three new pads cost 39 euros. Our tester praised the adhesive power of the pads, which, unlike plasters, do not leave any adhesive residue on the skin.
