The Italian brand from Milan returns with a revised handlebar tape collection, four decades after the launch of the original Cork EVA handlebar tape. The new range covers road and gravel use and features a new name and coloured packaging.
The Gravel Travel uses a higher density than standard straps and weighs 105 g at 3.2 mm thick. The gel technology enables repositioning and reattachment after installation. At 2050 mm long, the strap has a washable suede-look surface. The Chubby version uses twice the gel density with the same dimensions and weight. The Gravel Travel costs €29.00, the Chubby version €35.00.
The Pro Race is made of polyurethane and microfibres, weighs 93 g and measures 2000 mm in length. According to the manufacturer, the 3D-structured surface is designed to improve grip and control. An artist collaboration with Mike Giant brings a separate version. The Classic Road Cork uses EVA and cork with a thickness of 2.5 mm, a weight of 60 g and a length of 2050 mm. The Cork Gel version adds gel inserts with identical dimensions. The Pro Race costs € 42.00, the Art version € 45.00. The Classic Road Cork costs € 17.50, the gel version € 21.50.
