Trek Roscoe 24

The "Roscoe 24" model from Trek, released in 2023, is a sturdy and versatile children’s bike designed specifically for young cyclists. It is available at a price of 574 EUR and offers a wide range of technical features that ensure both safety and riding enjoyment.

The frame of the Roscoe 24 is made from Alpha Aluminium and is designed for 24-inch wheels. Weighing 11 kg, the bike is light enough for children to handle with ease. The maximum load capacity is 80 kg, providing sufficient stability and load-bearing capacity.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro mechanical disc brakes (model MD-M280) on both wheels, each with a disc diameter of 160 mm. The handlebars are 580 mm wide Bontrager aluminium bars with a 15 mm rise and a diameter of 31.8 mm. The grips are made from Kraton and are specially designed for children’s hands.

The stem is a Bontrager Comp with a diameter of 31.8 mm, Blendr compatibility, a 7-degree angle and a length of 60 mm. The headset is a semi-integrated VP headset with a size of 1 1/8". The tyres are Chen-Shin tyres in size 24 x 2.80, which offer good grip and stability.

The saddle is padded and specially adapted for a 24-inch children’s frame. The seatpost is made of aluminium, has a diameter of 27.2 mm, a 12 mm offset and a length of 250 mm.
