Trek Madone SLR 9 Gen 6

The "Madone SLR 9 Gen 6" model from "Trek", released in 2022, is a state-of-the-art road bike designed for discerning riders. The price for this model is 13,599 EUR. The frame is made from 800 Series OCLV Carbon and features the KVF (Kammtail Virtual Foil) tube profile, which ensures optimum aerodynamics. The adjustable IsoSpeed on the top tube allows for individual customisation of ride comfort, whilst the hidden cable routing and the aerodynamic 3S chain guide complete the overall design. The frame also supports DuoTrap S compatibility and features a flat-mount disc brake mount as well as a 142 x 12 mm thru-axle. The maximum permissible weight is 125 kg, and the bike itself weighs just 7 kg.

The Shimano Dura-Ace hydraulic disc brakes with Shimano MT900 discs (160 mm, Centre Lock) ensure reliable braking performance at both the front and rear. Shifting is handled by the Shimano Dura-Ace R9270 Di2 shift lever with 12 speeds. The front derailleur is a Shimano Dura-Ace R9250 Di2 in the brazed version with a down swing. The fork is made of full carbon with a KVF profile and also features concealed cable routing and a flat-mount disc brake mount.

The crankset is a Shimano Dura-Ace R9200 with a 52/36 gear ratio and a crank arm length of 170 mm, whilst the bottom bracket is from Praxis and is threaded. The cassette is a Shimano Dura-Ace R9200 with an 11–30 ratio and 12 speeds. The drivetrain combines Shimano Dura-Ace/XTR M9100 components.

The handlebars and stem are aerodynamically designed and made from OCLV carbon. The handlebars are 40 cm wide, with a reach of 93 mm and a drop of 123 mm, whilst the stem is 90 mm long and has a 7-degree angle.

The tyres are Bontrager R3s in size 700 x 25, and the wheelset consists of Bontrager Aeolus RSL 51s, which are also made from OCLV carbon and are tubeless-ready. The profile height is 51 mm, and the thru-axles measure 100 x 12 mm at the front and 142 x 12 mm at the rear.

The saddle is a Bontrager Aeolus P2 Pro with carbon rails and a width of 155 mm. The seatpost is a Madone model featuring an aerodynamic internal carbon seat tower, an integrated rear light mount and a 5 mm offset.

The bike’s packaging dimensions are 21 mm wide, 119 mm high and 189 mm long.
