Trek Madone SLR 6 AXS Gen 7

The “Madone SLR 6 AXS Gen 7” model from the “Trek” brand, released in 2024, which is available at a price of 8,899 EUR, stands out thanks to a wide range of technical and equipment-related features that make it a frontrunner in its category. The frame is made from 800 Series OCLV Carbon and utilises the aerodynamic KVF tube profile (Kammtail Virtual Foil). The IsoFlow seat tube provides additional comfort and aerodynamics, whilst the hidden cable routing and the aerodynamic 3S chain guide complete the overall design. The T47 bottom bracket and the flat-mount disc brake mount with a 142 x 12 mm thru-axle complement the high-quality construction. The maximum permissible weight is 125 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 8 kg.

The braking system consists of SRAM Rival hydraulic disc brakes, both front and rear, with rounded SRAM Paceline brake discs featuring a Centre Lock mount and each measuring 160 mm in diameter. The gear system is operated by the SRAM Rival eTap AXS 12-speed shifter, supported by the solder-on SRAM Rival eTap AXS front derailleur. The fork is a Madone KVF full-carbon fork with a tapered carbon steerer tube, internal brake routing and flat-mount disc, as well as carbon dropouts and a 12x100 mm thru-axle.

The wheelset consists of Bontrager Aeolus Pro 51 wheels made from OCLV carbon, which are tubeless-ready and feature a 100 x 12 mm thru-axle at the front and a 142 x 12 mm thru-axle at the rear with a SRAM XD-R freehub body. The saddle is a Bontrager Aeolus Elite with austenitic struts and a width of 145 mm. The seatpost is a Madone aerodynamic internal carbon seatpost with an integrated rear light mount and a 0 mm offset in the long version.
