Trek Domane+ SLR 6

The 2024 Trek Domane+ SLR 6 is a high-end e-road bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 8499 EUR, it offers a wide range of technical features and specifications that prioritise both performance and comfort.

The Domane+ SLR 6’s frame is made from 800 Series OCLV Carbon and incorporates the TQ drive system. It features a tapered head tube, rear IsoSpeed, internal cable routing and flat-mount disc brake mounts. Mudguard eyelets and a 142x12 mm thru-axle round off the specifications. The bike’s total weight is 12 kg, whilst the maximum load capacity is 125 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (model 105 BR-R7170) at the front and rear, with 160 mm brake discs. The gear components include Shimano 105 R7170 shift levers and a Shimano 105 R7150 Di2 front derailleur in a brazed-on version. The Domane+’s fork is also made of carbon and features internal brake cable routing as well as mudguard eyelets.

The crankset is a Praxis Carbon model with a crank arm length of 175 mm. The cassette is a Shimano 105 7100 (11–34T, 12-speed), paired with a Shimano SLX M7100 freehub. The cockpit consists of a Bontrager Pro IsoCore VR-SF handlebar (44 cm) and a Trek RCS Pro stem with a -7-degree angle and a length of 110 mm.

The wheelset comprises Bontrager Aeolus Pro 37 OCLV Carbon wheels, which are tubeless-ready and have a rim height of 37 mm. These are fitted with a 100x12 mm thru-axle at the front and a 142x12 mm thru-axle at the rear. The saddle is a Verse Short Elite with stainless steel seat stays and a width of 145 mm, mounted on a Domane Carbon seatpost with a KVF profile and 20 mm offset.

The integrated TQ battery has a capacity of 360 Wh and ensures sufficient range on long rides. The bike’s packaging dimensions are 21 mm wide, 119 mm high and 189 mm long.

The frame geometry comprises a reach of 38 mm, a stack of 63 mm, a seat tube length of 57 mm, a top tube length of 58 mm, a head tube angle of 72 degrees and a seat tube angle of 73 degrees. The head tube length is 22 mm, the chainstay length 43 mm, the standover height 83 mm and the wheelbase 104 mm.
