Trek Domane SL 7

The "Domane SL 7" model from the Trek brand from 2021 is a high-quality road bike that is characterised by its advanced technology and excellent equipment. The price for this model is EUR 5999.

The frame is made of 500 Series OCLV carbon and features front and rear IsoSpeed, an integrated storage compartment, a tapered head tube and internal cable routing. The frame is also equipped with a 3S chain guide, DuoTrap S compatibility, mudguard eyelets and a flat mount disc brake mount. The thru axle measures 142 x 12 mm. The permissible total weight of the bike is 125 kg, while the weight of the bike itself is 8 kg.

The braking system comprises Shimano Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear with 160 mm Shimano RT800 Center Lock discs. The shift levers are also from Shimano Ultegra R8070 and offer 11-speed shifting. The front derailleur is a Shimano Ultegra R8050 Di2 braze-on version.

The fork of the Domane SL 7 is also made of carbon and has a tapered carbon steerer tube, internal brake cable routing, mudguard eyelets and a flat mount disc brake mount. The front thru axle measures 12 x 100 mm. The crankset is a Shimano Ultegra R8000 with a 50/34 (compact) gear ratio and a crank arm length of 165 mm, combined with a threaded Praxis T47 bottom bracket.

The cassette consists of a Shimano Ultegra HG800 with an 11-34 gear ratio and also 11 gears. The drive is provided by a Shimano Ultegra HG701 chain.

The handlebar is a Bontrager Elite IsoZone VR-SF made of aluminium with a width of 36 cm, a reach of 75 mm and a drop of 128 mm. It has internal Di2 cable routing. The grips are Bontrager Supertack Performance handlebar tape. The stem is a Bontrager Pro with a diameter of 31.8 mm, Blendr compatibility, an angle of 7 degrees and a length of 60 mm.

The tyres are Bontrager R2 Hard-Case Lite with aramid bead core, 60 TPI and the dimensions 700 x 32C. The wheelset consists of Bontrager Aeolus Pro 3V OCLV Carbon, which are tubeless ready and have an internal width of 25 mm. The rear thru axle measures 142 x 12 mm.

The saddle is a Bontrager Arvada Comp with steel stays and a width of 138 mm. The seatpost is an internal carbon seat tower attachment from Bontrager with an integrated rear light mount, an offset of 20 mm and a short length.

The packaging dimensions of the bike are 20 mm wide, 80 mm high and 129 mm long. The reach of the model is 36 mm, the stack 51 mm, the seat tube length 39 mm and the top tube length 50 mm. The head tube angle is 70 degrees, the seat tube angle 75 degrees. The head tube length is 10 mm, the chainstay length is 42 mm, the standover height is 66 mm and the wheelbase measures 98 mm.
