Trek Domane SL 6

The 2020 Trek Domane SL 6 is a versatile and high-performance road bike, available for 3,508 EUR. It features a 500 Series OCLV Carbon frame with front and rear IsoSpeed, ensuring a comfortable ride. The frame is fitted with an integrated BITS frame bag, a tapered head tube and internal cable routing. Other features include a Micro Adjust seatpost, a 3S chain guide, DuoTrap S compatibility, mudguard eyelets and a flat-mount disc brake mount. The maximum rider weight is 125 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 9 kg.

The Shimano Ultegra R8070 hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable stopping power at both the front and rear, featuring Shimano RT800 Centre Lock disc mounts and 160 mm discs. The shift levers are also Shimano Ultegra, model R8020, and offer 11 speeds. The front derailleur is the brazed version of the Shimano Ultegra R8000. The Domane SL’s fork is made of carbon and features a tapered carbon steerer tube, internal brake cable routing, mudguard eyelets and a flat-mount disc brake mount with a 12 x 100 mm thru-axle.

The crankset is a Shimano Ultegra R8000 with a compact 50/34 gear ratio and a crank arm length of 172.5 mm. The cassette is a Shimano Ultegra HG800 with an 11-34 ratio for 11 speeds. The drivetrain is completed by the Shimano Ultegra HG701 chain. The handlebars are the Bontrager Elite IsoZone VR-CF, made of aluminium, with a width of 42 cm, internal Di2 cable routing, a reach of 93 mm and a drop of 123 mm. The grips are Bontrager Supertack Performance handlebar tape.

The stem is the Bontrager Pro, with a length of 100 mm, a diameter of 31.8 mm and an angle of 7 degrees. The tyres are Bontrager R2 Hard-Case Lite with an aramid bead core and a size of 700 x 32C. The wheelset consists of Bontrager Paradigm Comp 25 wheels, which are tubeless-ready and have an internal width of 25 mm. These are fitted with a 100 x 12 mm thru-axle at the front and a 142 x 12 mm thru-axle at the rear.

The saddle is the Bontrager Arvada Comp with steel rails, whilst the seatpost is an internal carbon seatpost from Bontrager, which features an integrated rear light mount and a 20 mm offset. The packaging dimensions are 21 mm wide, 78 mm high and 140 mm long. The model has a reach of 38 mm, a stack of 59 mm, a seat tube length of 52 mm and a top tube length of 55 mm.
