Trek Domane+ LT 7 Gen 2

The 2022 “Domane+ LT 7 Gen 2” model from Trek offers an impressive combination of performance and technology at a price of 7,999 EUR. The frame is made from 500 Series OCLV carbon and features an integrated Fazua Evation drive system. With a tapered head tube, rear IsoSpeed, internal cable routing, flat-mount disc brake mounts, mudguard eyelets and a 148 x 12 mm thru-axle, the frame provides a solid and advanced foundation for the bike. The maximum rider weight is 125 kg, whilst the bike’s total weight is 13 kg.

Braking is provided by Shimano Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes at both the front and rear, each featuring a Shimano MT800, a Centre Lock disc mount and 160 mm discs. The gear system is provided by the Shimano Ultegra R8170 Di2 shift lever with 12 speeds, supported by the Shimano Ultegra R8150 Di2 front derailleur in a brazed-on version with a down-swing design.

The bike’s fork is the Domane SL made of carbon, featuring a tapered carbon steerer tube, internal brake cable routing and mudguard eyelets. It also features a flat-mount disc brake mount and a 12 x 100 mm thru-axle. The crankset is made from Fazua carbon with a 50/34 gear ratio and a crank arm length of 175 mm. The saddle is the Bontrager Verse Elite with austenitic rails and a width of 145 mm, whilst the seatpost is an internal carbon seatpost from Bontrager, which features an integrated rear light mount and a 20 mm offset.

The bike’s motor is from Fazua, whilst the battery is a Shimano BT-DN300 with a capacity of 252 Wh. The display is also supplied by Fazua, and the charger is the Fazua Evation charger for voltages of 220–240 V.
