Trek Domane+ ALR

The 2022 Trek Domane+ ALR is a high-quality e-bike designed specifically for discerning riders. Priced at 4199 EUR, it offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and robust design. The frame is made from 300 Series Alpha aluminium and incorporates the Fazua Evation drive system. This system is discreetly integrated into the frame and provides maximum assistance up to 25 km/h. The tapered head tube, internal cable routing and flat-mount disc brake mounts ensure a clean look and excellent riding stability. The frame also features mudguard eyelets and a 148 x 12 mm thru-axle.

The bike’s total weight is 15 kg, and it can carry a maximum rider weight of up to 125 kg. The Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes, fitted to both the front and rear, ensure reliable braking performance in all conditions. The brakes are fitted with Shimano MT800 and EM810 Centre Lock disc mounts, each with a diameter of 160 mm.

The Domane+ ALR’s groupset comprises Shimano 105 R7025 shifters with a reduced grip width and a Shimano 105 R7000 brazed-on front derailleur. The crankset is from FSA and is specifically designed for the Fazua system, featuring 50/34 chainrings and a crank arm length of 170 mm. The cassette is a Shimano 105 HG700-11 with an 11-34 ratio and 11 speeds.

The fork is a Domane+ carbon fork with a tapered aluminium steerer tube and a flat-mount disc brake mount. It is also fitted with a 12 x 100 mm thru-axle. The handlebars are aluminium Bontrager Comp VR-C with a width of 40 cm, a reach of 100 mm and a drop of 124 mm. The stem is a Bontrager Elite with a clamp diameter of 31.8 mm, Blendr compatibility, a 7-degree angle and a length of 90 mm.

The wheelset comprises Bontrager Paradigm Comp 25 wheels, which are tubeless-ready and have an inner width of 25 mm. The front hub has a 100 x 12 mm thru-axle, whilst the rear hub features a freehub designed for 11/12-speed cassettes and a 148 x 12 mm thru-axle.

The seatpost is a Bontrager Comp made from 6061 aluminium, with a diameter of 27.2 mm, an 8 mm offset and a length of 330 mm. The Fazua Evation Drive Pack provides the motor power, supported by a 250 Wh battery which can be charged using a Fazua Evation charger.

The frame geometry comprises a seat tube length of 48 mm, a top tube length of 53 mm, a head tube angle of 71 degrees and a seat tube angle of 74 degrees. The head tube is 13 mm long, the chainstay length is 43 mm, the standover height is 75 mm and the wheelbase measures 101 mm in total.
