Stevens Vapor 1x11

The "Vapor 1x11" model from Stevens, released in 2023, stands out for its high-quality components and light weight. The frame is made from SL 7005 TB aluminium, which gives the bike a sturdy yet lightweight structure. With a total weight of just 8 kg and a maximum load capacity of 115 kg, the bike offers an excellent balance of stability and lightness.

The braking system is fully equipped with Shimano GRX 810 components, both at the front and rear. The brake levers are the Shimano GRX 810 STI ST-RX810-R, whilst the brakes themselves are the Shimano GRX 810 BR-RX810. Both brakes are paired with Shimano SM-RT70 brake discs with a diameter of 160 mm, ensuring reliable braking performance.

The Vapor 1x11’s rear derailleur is a Shimano GRX 810 RD-RX810-D, which offers an 11-speed drivetrain. The shift levers are also from Shimano – specifically, the GRX 810 STI / GRX 810 STI ST-RX810-R. The crankset consists of the Shimano GRX 810 FC-RX810-1 with 40 teeth, whilst the cassette is a Shimano CS-HG700, also offering an 11-speed range.

The bike’s fork is a STEVENS Full Carbon SL HMF, which provides additional lightness and stiffness. The bottom bracket is a Pressfit BB86, which contributes to the stability and efficiency of the drivetrain. The handlebars are Oxygen Scorpo Aero Gravel, combined with an Oxygen Scorpo Road stem and a STEVENS Race Taper headset (1 1/8"–1 1/2").

The wheelset consists of DT Swiss E 1800 Spline wheels, fitted with Schwalbe X-One Allround Performance tyres (33-622). This combination ensures excellent rolling performance and grip on a wide variety of surfaces.

The Vapor 1x11 is fitted with an Oxygen Triton saddle, mounted on an Oxygen Scorpo Road seatpost, which offers additional comfort. The price for this model is 2,299 EUR, which represents excellent value for money given the high-quality components and low weight.
