Stevens Savoie Gent

The “Savoie Gent” model from the “Stevens” brand, released in 2023, is a versatile bicycle available for 999 EUR. The frame is made from 6061 DB aluminium, which contributes to its low weight of 16 kg, whilst the maximum load capacity is 130 kg.

The bike’s braking system is fitted with Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers, which operate Shimano BR-MT200 disc brakes at both the front and rear. The brake discs measure 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear (Shimano SM-RT30). Gear changes are facilitated by the Sunrace RDM97 front derailleur with 27 speeds and Sunrace DLM903 shift levers, ensuring precise and smooth gear changes.

The SR Suntour NX1-Coil LO fork, with 63 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride. Lighting is provided by the B+M IQ Avy T Senso+ front light and the B+M Toplight 2C+ rear light, which are powered by a Shimano DH-3D37 dynamo.

The bike is fitted with City Reflex pedals and features a BSA 68 mm bottom bracket as well as an Oxygen Scorpo crankset with 48-38-28 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG400 with 9-speed gearing. The handlebars (Oxygen Driver) measure 660 mm, whilst the stem is also from Oxygen Scorpo. The headset is a STEVENS AH 1 1/8".

The rims are Oxygen RM-26 Disc, measuring 26 x 622, fitted with Schwalbe Citizen Active-Line tyres (47-622). The front hub is a Shimano DH-3D37, and the rear hub is a Formula CL-52. The saddle is a Selle Royal Nuvola Gent, mounted on an Oxygen Driver seatpost.

Additional features include SKS mudguards, a Pletscher Comp kickstand and a Racktime luggage rack, which make the bike a practical everyday companion. Overall, the Stevens Savoie Gent offers a balanced combination of comfort, functionality and reliability.
