Stevens Gavere

The "Gavere" model from the "Stevens" brand, released in 2022, is a high-quality gravel bike available at a price of 1,599 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from 6061 TB aluminium, ensuring a robust yet lightweight construction. Shimano GRX 400 BR-RX400 disc brakes are fitted at the front and rear, operated by Shimano GRX 400 STI ST-RX400-R brake levers. The brake discs each have a diameter of 160 mm (model SM-RT30).

The Gavere’s rear derailleur is a Shimano GRX 400 Shadow+ RD-RX400-D, which enables precise and reliable gear changes. The shift levers are also from the GRX 400 series (Shimano GRX 400 STI ST-RX400-R). The front derailleur is a Shimano GRX 400 FD-RX400-F with an adapter for a 34.9 mm clamp.

The bike’s fork is a STEVENS S-Lite aluminium fork, which also contributes to the bike’s stability and lightness. The bottom bracket is a 68 mm BSA, whilst the crankset consists of a Shimano GRX 600 with 46-30 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG50-10 with a 10-speed cassette.

An Oxygen Scorpo Aero Gravel handlebar has been chosen, which, together with the Oxygen Scorpo Road stem, enables a comfortable and aerodynamic riding position. The headset is a STEVENS Race Taper with dimensions of 1 1/8"–1 1/2".

The tyres are Schwalbe G-One Bite RaceGuard, size 40-622, fitted to both the front and rear, and offer excellent grip on a wide variety of surfaces. The wheels are Fulcrum Rapid Red 900 DB, renowned for their reliability and performance.

The saddle is an Oxygen Cyrius, which, together with the Oxygen Scorpo seatpost, ensures the necessary comfort on long rides. Overall, the 2022 Stevens Gavere offers a balanced combination of quality, performance and value for money, making it an attractive choice for gravel bike enthusiasts.
