Stevens 6X Tour Gent

The "6X Tour Gent" model from Stevens, released in 2023, is a versatile and robust trekking bike that stands out for its high-quality components and solid build. The frame is made from 6061 DB aluminium, which gives the bike a good balance between stability and lightness. Weighing 15 kg and with a maximum load capacity of 130 kg, the bike is suitable for both everyday use and longer tours. The price for this model is 1199 EUR.

The braking system on the “6X Tour Gent” utilises tried-and-tested components from Shimano. Shimano BR-MT200 disc brakes are fitted at both the front and rear, combined with a 180 mm Shimano SM-RT54 brake disc at the front and a 160 mm Shimano SM-RT54 brake disc at the rear. The Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers ensure precise and reliable braking power transfer.

The bike features a 30-speed gear system, controlled by the Shimano Deore Trekking Shadow RD-T6000-SGS rear derailleur and the Shimano Deore SL-M6000 shifter. The Shimano Deore Trekking FD-T6000-H3L front derailleur complements the gear system and allows for fine-tuning of the gears. The Oxygen Scorpo crankset, with 48-38-28-tooth chainrings and the Shimano CS-HG500 10-speed cassette, offers a wide range of gear ratios for varying riding conditions.

The SR Suntour NX1-Coil LO fork, with 63 mm of travel, provides additional comfort on uneven trails. For lighting, the bike is fitted with the B+M IQ Avy T Senso+ front light and the B+M Toplight 2C+ rear light, which are powered by the Shimano DH-3D37 dynamo.

The “6X Tour Gent” is also fitted with high-quality Oxygen components, including the Oxygen Driver handlebars (640 mm), the Oxygen Driver stem and the Oxygen Driver seatpost. The Oxygen Havoc saddle offers additional comfort on long rides. The Oxygen RM-23 Disc rims (23 x 622), combined with the Schwalbe G-One Allround Performance tyres (40-622), ensure good riding stability and traction.

Other practical features include the ATB Alu Comp Reflex pedals, the BSA 73 mm bottom bracket, the Racktime Eco IMM luggage rack, the SKS mudguards and the Pletscher Comp kickstand. These components make the “6X Tour Gent” a reliable companion for a wide range of uses.
