Stevens 5X Gent

The “5X Gent” model from Stevens, launched in 2023, offers a balanced combination of quality, performance and value for money. Priced at 849 EUR, this bike is aimed at discerning riders who value reliability and comfort. The bike’s frame is made from 6061 TB aluminium, contributing to a robust yet lightweight total weight of 13 kg. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, ensuring high load-bearing capacity.

For the braking system, Stevens has opted for Tektro HD-T275 brake levers and disc brakes, fitted to both the front and rear. The front brake disc has a diameter of 180 mm, whilst the rear brake disc is slightly smaller at 160 mm. Suspension is provided by the SR Suntour NCX-D LO fork with 63 mm of travel, ensuring additional comfort on uneven terrain. The ATB Alu Comp Reflex pedals and the BSA 73 mm bottom bracket contribute to the stability and efficiency of the drivetrain.

The handlebars and stem are from the Oxygen Driver series, with the handlebars measuring 640 mm in width. The headset is a STEVENS AH 1 1/8", which ensures precise steering. The rims, both front and rear, are Oxygen RM-M19 measuring 19 x 622. The tyres are Schwalbe Smart Sam Active-Line in size 42-622, which are known for their good grip and durability.

The front hub is a Formula CL-25 and the rear hub is a Shimano FH-M3050, ensuring a smooth ride. The saddle is an Oxygen Havoc, mounted on an Oxygen Driver seatpost, which provides additional comfort. A chain guard is also fitted to protect the chain from dirt and extend its service life.
