Scott Spark 960 blue

The "Spark 960 blue" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a versatile mountain bike fitted with a range of high-quality components. The frame is made from Spark Alloy SL 6011 and features Integrated Suspension Technology and the Flex Pivot. This design allows for an adjustable head tube angle and seamless integration of the Syncros Cable Integration System. The frame has a BB92 bottom bracket, a UDH interface and a 12x148mm rear hub with a 55mm chainline. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 128 kg, whilst its kerb weight is 15 kg.

The bike is suitable for riders between 160 cm and 170 cm in height. Braking performance is provided by Shimano MT501 disc brakes at the front and rear, fitted with Shimano SM-RT54 CL brake discs, each 180 mm in diameter. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano XT RD-M8100 SGS rear derailleur with Shadow Plus technology and offers 12 speeds. The shift levers are Shimano Deore SL-M6100-R Rapidfire Plus.

The suspension fork is a RockShox Judy Silver TK Solo Air, fitted with a 15x110 mm QR axle, a 42 mm offset and a tapered steerer tube. It offers 130 mm of travel and features two modes: rebound adjustment and lockout. The rear shock is an X-Fusion NUDE 5 RLX Trunnion, which has been specially customised by Scott. It offers three modes (Lockout, Traction Control and Descend), as well as adjustable damping and 120 mm of travel.

The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-MT500 measuring 41x92mm. The crankset consists of a Shimano FC-MT512-1 with a 55mm chainline and a 32-tooth chainring. The cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-M6100-12 with a 10–51-tooth range. The drivetrain is completed by a KMC X12 chain.

The handlebars are Syncros Fraser 2.0 DC made from 6061 aluminium, featuring a mini-rise and an 8-degree backsweep, and are 760 mm wide. The grips are Syncros Performance XC lock-on grips. The stem is a Syncros DC 3.0 featuring the Syncros Cable Integration System, a 0° rise and is also made from 6061 aluminium. The stem length is 50 mm.

The rims are Syncros X-30SE with 32 spokes and a width of 30 mm. The front hub is a Formula CL-811 with a 15x110 mm axle, and the rear hub is a Formula CL-3248M with a 12x148 mm axle and Micro Spline. The tyres are Schwalbe Wicked Will in size 29x2.4", which are both tubeless-ready and foldable and feature the Addix Performance compound.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 2.5 Regular, mounted on a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post 2.5 seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a 100 mm drop for size S.
