Scott Scale RC Team

The "Scale RC Team" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a high-quality mountain bike that stands out for its technical specifications and well-thought-out features. The price for this model is 3199 EUR.

The bike’s frame is made from Scale Carbon HMF and features adjustable head tube geometry as well as the Syncros Cable Integration System. The Advanced Shock & Standing Damping System ensures optimum damping. The frame is fitted with a BB92 bottom bracket, a UDH interface and a 12x148mm axle with a 55mm chainline. The maximum rider weight is 128 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 10 kg.

The Scale RC Team is designed for riders between 185 cm and 200 cm in height. The brakes are Shimano XT M8100 disc brakes at the front and rear, with the front brake disc having a diameter of 180 mm and the rear one a diameter of 160 mm. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano XT RD-M8100 SGS Shadow Plus 12-speed system. The shift levers are Shimano XT SL-M8100-IR Rapidfire Plus with Ispec EV clamps.

The RockShox SID SL RL Air fork offers 100 mm of travel and is fitted with a lockout and rebound adjustment. The bottom bracket is a Shimano SM-BB71-41A with a shell width of 41x92 mm. The crankset consists of a Shimano XT FC-M8120-1 Hollowtech 2 with a 32T chainring. The cassette is a Shimano XT CS-M8100-12 with a range of 10–51 teeth, and the drivetrain uses a Shimano CN-M7100 chain.

The bike’s handlebars are Syncros Fraser 1.5 XC made from 7075 D.B. aluminium, flat with an 8-degree backsweep and a width of 740 mm. The grips are Syncros Performance XC lock-on grips. The stem is a Syncros XC 1.5 with the Syncros Cable Integration System; it has an angle of -12 degrees and a length of 80 mm.

The bike is fitted with a Syncros Acros Angle Adjust & Cable Routing headset, which allows for a head angle adjustment of ±0.6 degrees. The wheels are Syncros Silverton 2.0-30 6-bolt, tubeless-ready, and have a rim width of 30 mm.
