Scott Scale 965 green

The "Scale 965 green" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a high-quality mountain bike available for 1499 EUR. It features a robust frame made from Scale Alloy 6061 with custom butted tubing and an integrated Syncros cable system. The frame is fitted with a tapered head tube, a BB92 bottom bracket and a UDH interface, and features a 12x148mm axle with a chainline of 55mm.

The bike’s maximum load capacity is 128 kg, whilst it weighs 13 kg. The model is suitable for riders between 160 cm and 170 cm in height.

The braking system consists of Shimano MT201 disc brakes at both the front and rear, complemented by Shimano SM-RT10 CL brake discs with a diameter of 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear. Gear changes are facilitated by the Shimano SLX RD-M7100 SGS rear derailleur with Shadow Plus technology and 12 speeds. The shift levers are Shimano Deore SL-M6100-R Rapidfire Plus.

The RockShox Judy Silver TK Solo Air fork offers 100 mm of travel and a 15x110 mm QR axle. It features a rebound adjustment and lockout function. The crankset is a Shimano FC-MT512-1 with a 55 mm chainline and a 32T chainring. The cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-M6100-12 with a 10–51-tooth range. Power is transmitted via a KMC X12 chain.

The cockpit consists of a Syncros Alloy 6061 handlebar with a width of 740 mm and a backsweep of 9 degrees, as well as a Syncros Alloy 6061 stem with a length of 50 mm and an angle of 6 degrees. The grips are Syncros Performance XC grips, and the headset is a Syncros - Acros OE Cable Routing HS system.

The wheelsets consist of Syncros X-27 rims with 32 spokes and a width of 27 mm, fitted with Maxxis Rekon Race tyres in size 2.4" and a 60 TPI casing. The hubs are by Formula: the CL-811 at the front with 15x110mm and the CL-3248M at the rear with 12x148mm Micro Spline.

The saddle is a Syncros Belcarra Regular 2.5, fitted to a Syncros seatpost measuring 31.6x400 mm.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 420 mm, a stack of 596 mm, a seat tube length of 390 mm and a top tube length of 580 mm. The head tube angle is 67 degrees, the seat tube angle is 75 degrees, the head tube length is 90 mm, the chainstay length is 425 mm, the bottom bracket drop is 60 mm and the fork offset is 44 mm. The top tube height is 755 mm, the fork installation height is 506 mm, the wheelbase is 1112 mm and the bottom bracket height is 315 mm.
