Scott Scale 940 red

The "Scale 940 red" model from the Scott brand from 2024 is a state-of-the-art mountain bike designed for demanding riders. With a price tag of EUR 1999, it offers excellent value for money. The bike's frame is made of Scale Carbon HMF and features an adjustable head tube angle and the Syncros Cable Integration System. It is also equipped with an advanced damping and stand-up protection system and has a BB92 bottom bracket and a UDH interface. The permissible total weight is 128 kg, while the weight of the bike itself is 12 kg.

The bike is suitable for riders between 170 cm and 180 cm tall. The Shimano MT200 disc brakes both front and rear, combined with Shimano SM-RT10 CL brake discs (180 mm front, 160 mm rear) ensure optimum braking performance. The saddle is a Syncros Belcarra Regular 2.5, while the seatpost is also from Syncros and measures 31.6x400 mm.

The geometry of the bike comprises a reach of 443 mm, a stack of 605 mm, a seat tube length of 440 mm and a top tube length of 605 mm. The head tube angle is 67 degrees and the seat tube angle is 75 degrees. The head tube has a length of 100 mm, the chainstay length is 425 mm and the bottom bracket drop is 60 mm. Other dimensions include a fork pre-bend of 44 mm, a standover height of 786 mm, a fork insertion height of 506 mm, a wheelbase of 1138 mm and a bottom bracket height of 315 mm.
