Scott Scale 940 black

The Scott Scale 940 black from 2024 is a state-of-the-art mountain bike designed for demanding riders. With a price tag of EUR 1999, it offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and high-quality components. The frame is made from Scale Carbon HMF and features an adjustable head tube angle and the Syncros Cable Integration System. It is also equipped with an Advanced Shock & Standing Damping System, which ensures optimum damping. The frame supports the BB92 bottom bracket and has a UDH interface as well as a 12x148mm axle with a 55mm chainline.

The permissible total weight is 128kg, while the bike itself weighs just 12kg. It is suitable for riders between 185 cm and 200 cm tall. The brakes are Shimano MT200 Disc Brakes, both front and rear, with Shimano SM-RT10 CL brake discs (180mm front and 160mm rear). The gearing is a SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain operated by a SRAM SX Eagle trigger.

The rims are Syncros X-30SE, tubeless ready and have a width of 30 mm. The spokes are made of black stainless steel with a thickness of 15G / 1.8mm. The tyres are Schwalbe Smart Sam 29x2.35" from the Active Line series. The hubs are from Formula, front CL-811 with a 15x110mm axle and rear CL-3248 with a 12x148mm axle.

The saddle is a Syncros Belcarra Regular 2.5 and the seat post measures 31.6x400mm. The geometry of the bike comprises a reach of 493 mm, a stack of 624 mm, a seat tube length of 530 mm and a top tube length of 660 mm. The head tube angle is 67 degrees, the seat tube angle is 75 degrees and the head tube length is 120 mm. The chainstay length is 425 mm, the bottom bracket drop is 60 mm, the fork pre-bend is 44 mm and the standover height is 835 mm. The fork height is 506 mm and the wheelbase is 1196 mm with a bottom bracket height of 315 mm.
