Scott Metrix 10

The "Metrix 10" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a high-quality bicycle that stands out for its sophisticated technology and well-thought-out features. Priced at 2199 EUR, it offers excellent value for money for discerning cyclists.

The Metrix 10’s frame is made from Metrix Disc HMF carbon and features endurance geometry. It is also fitted with a replaceable derailleur hanger and is pre-fitted for the Syncros mudguard kit. The maximum load capacity is 120 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 9 kg, making it particularly light and manoeuvrable.

The Metrix 10’s specifications are tailored to riders between 160 cm and 170 cm in height. The braking system consists of Shimano BR-RS405 hydraulic disc brakes at both the front and rear, operated via Shimano BL-RS600 brake levers. The brake discs are Shimano SM-RT70 CL rotors with a diameter of 160 mm.

The gear system is a black Shimano 105 RD-R7000-GS with 22 speeds, controlled via Shimano SL-RS700 shift levers. The front derailleur is also a Shimano 105 FD-R7000 in black. The bottom bracket is a PRAXIS 86-0301 M24 BB86, whilst the crankset is a PRAXIS ALBA M24 with 50x34T in black. The handlebars are Syncros Flat-Bar FL2.0 with a width of 620 mm, whilst the stem is a Syncros RR2.0 with a length of 83 mm and a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is an Acros AIF-1134.

The wheels consist of Syncros Race 24 Disc rims, each with 28 spokes at the front and rear, laced with black 2 mm spokes. The hubs are Formula Team II CL Disc models, each with 28 holes. The tyres are Schwalbe G-One Allround in the size 700x40C.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino T-Channel 2.0, mounted on a Syncros Carbon RR1.2 seatpost measuring 27.2/350 mm.

The bike’s dimensions include a seat tube length of 477 mm, a top tube length of 518 mm, a head tube angle of 70 degrees, a seat tube angle of 75 degrees, a head tube length of 95 mm and a chainstay length of 425 mm. The bottom bracket drop is 71 mm, the fork offset is 50 mm, the standover height is 759 mm, the fork installation height is 399 mm and the wheelbase measures 1009 mm in total. The bottom bracket height is 283 mm.

The bike is delivered in packaging measuring 25 mm in width, 80 mm in height and 142 mm in length, with the gross weight of the packaging being 18,000 g.
