Scott Contessa Strike eRIDE 920

The "Contessa Strike eRIDE 920" model from Scott, released in 2024, is an advanced e-mountain bike designed for discerning female riders. Priced at 5299 EUR, this model offers a wide range of high-quality technical features and specifications.

The frame of the Contessa Strike eRIDE 920 is made from a lightweight and robust aluminium alloy and is fitted with Virtual 4 Link Kinematic (VLK). It is compatible with both 27.5" and 29" wheels and features adjustable geometry. The frame offers 140 mm of suspension travel and is fitted with Boost 148x12 mm axles. The integrated, removable battery design ensures a clean look and ease of use. Furthermore, the frame is designed for the Bosch Gen4 motor range and features a central mounting point for the kickstand, as well as the option to install a Range Booster.

The bike’s maximum load capacity is 128 kg, whilst its kerb weight is 23 kg. The recommended height for riders is between 180 cm and 190 cm.

Braking performance is provided by the SRAM DB8 4-piston disc brake system with 200 mm diameter Centreline CL rotors at the front and rear. The gear system consists of a SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed system, controlled by a SRAM SX Eagle Single Click shifter. The drivetrain is powered by an FSA CK-320 crankset with a 34T chainring and an SRAM PG1210 cassette with an 11–50T range.

The handlebars are aluminium Syncros Hixon 2.0 Rise with a width of 740 mm, a rise of 20 mm and a backsweep of 8 degrees. The stem is an aluminium Syncros FL2.0 with a length of 60 mm and an angle of 6 degrees.

The wheelsets consist of Syncros MD30 rims, which are tubeless-ready, and Formula hubs (CL-811 at the front and CL-148S at the rear). The tyres are Maxxis Rekon in size 29x2.6", which are renowned for their traction and durability.

The saddle is a Syncros Capilano, mounted on a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post 2.5 seatpost with a travel of up to 150 mm, depending on frame size.

At the heart of the drivetrain is the Bosch Performance CX motor with a maximum assisted speed of 25 km/h (EU) or 20 mph (INT). The battery has a capacity of 625 Wh and is controlled via a Bosch Purion display. The charger delivers 4A.
