Scott Contessa Strike eRID E920 purple

The "Contessa Strike eRID E920 purple" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a high-quality e-mountain bike available at a price of 5499 EUR. The frame is made from a robust aluminium alloy and features the Virtual 4 Link Kinematic (VLK) system, which is compatible with both 27.5" and 29" wheels. The frame offers adjustable geometry and is fitted with Boost 148x12mm axles, ensuring enhanced stability. The frame also offers 150 mm of travel and is optimised for the Bosch SmartSystem, including an integrated, removable battery and a central kickstand mount.

The bike is suitable for riders between 160 cm and 170 cm tall. The braking system consists of SRAM DB8 4-piston disc brakes at the front and rear, combined with SRAM Centerline CL rotors, each 200 mm in diameter, ensuring excellent braking performance. The drivetrain consists of a SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed system, operated via a SRAM SX Eagle Single Click shifter.

The suspension fork is a Marzocchi Z2 Air with eMTB+ technology, offering three modes and a 15x110 mm QR axle. It has 150 mm of travel and is equipped with rebound and lockout functions. The rear shock is an X-Fusion NUDE Trunnion, which also offers three modes (Lockout, Traction Control and Descend) as well as geometry adjustment, and has a travel of up to 150 mm.

The bike is also pre-fitted with Bosch Light Cables for the installation of front and rear lights. The crankset consists of an FSA CK-320 with a length of 165 mm and a 34-tooth chainring. The cassette is an SRAM PG1210 with a gear range of 11–50T. The drivetrain is powered by the SRAM SX Eagle.

The handlebars are Syncros Hixon 2.0 Rise aluminium handlebars, 760 mm wide, with a 20 mm rise and an 8-degree backsweep. The grips are Syncros Comfort lock-on grips, and the stem is a Syncros FL2.0 made of aluminium, with a length of 50 mm and an angle of 6 degrees.

The wheels feature Syncros MD30 rims, which are tubeless-ready, and are fitted with Maxxis Rekon tyres in size 29x2.6". The hubs are Formula CL-811 at the front and Formula CL-148S at the rear, both to the Boost standard.

The saddle is a Syncros Capilano, and the seatpost is a Syncros Duncan Dropper Post 2.5 with 100 mm of travel in size S. Power is provided by a Bosch Performance CX motor with a maximum speed of 25 km/h (EU) or 20 mph (INT), powered by a PowerTube battery with a capacity of 625 Wh. The display consists of the Bosch LED Remote & Intuvia 100.
