Scott Contessa Scale 910

The "Contessa Scale 910" model from Scott, released in 2024, is an advanced mountain bike designed for demanding riders. The bike’s frame is made from Scale Carbon HMF and features adjustable head tube geometry as well as the Syncros Cable Integration System. It also features an advanced suspension system for shock and static loads, a BB92 bottom bracket and a UDH interface. The maximum load capacity is 128 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 12 kg, making it a lightweight yet robust model.

The bike is suitable for riders between 180 cm and 190 cm in height. The braking system consists of Shimano MT401 disc brakes at the front and rear, with a 180 mm front rotor and a 160 mm rear rotor. The gear system is a Shimano XT RD-M8100 SGS Shadow Plus system with 12 speeds, controlled by Shimano Deore SL-M6100-R Rapidfire Plus shift levers.

The suspension fork is a FOX 32 Float Rhythm with 100 mm of travel, offering three modes, a quick-release axle and a tapered head tube design. The crankset is a Shimano FC-MT512-1 with 30 teeth and a 55 mm chainline. The cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-M6100-12 with a 10–51-tooth range, and the drivetrain is completed by a KMC X12 chain.

The handlebars, a Syncros Fraser 2.0 XC made from 6061 aluminium, are 700 mm wide and have an 8-degree backsweep. The grips are Syncros Performance XC lock-on grips. The stem is the Syncros DC 3.0 with the Syncros Cable Integration System and a 0-degree angle. The headset system allows for an angle adjustment of ±0.6 degrees.

The wheelsets consist of Syncros X-30SE rims with 32 spokes and a width of 30 mm, which are tubeless-ready. The tyres are Schwalbe Racing Ray at the front and Schwalbe Racing Ralph at the rear, both in size 29x2.35" and also tubeless-ready. The hubs are a Formula CL-811 at the front and a Shimano FH-MT410-B CL at the rear.

The saddle is a Syncros Savona 2.5 V-Concept, mounted on a Syncros seatpost measuring 31.6x400 mm. The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 463 mm, a stack of 615 mm, a seat tube length of 480 mm and a top tube length of 630 mm. The head tube angle is 67 degrees, the seat tube angle is 75 degrees, the head tube length is 110 mm and the chainstay length is 425 mm. Other dimensions include a bottom bracket drop of 60 mm, a fork offset of 44 mm, a top tube height of 805 mm, a fork installation height of 506 mm, a wheelbase of 1165 mm and a bottom bracket height of 315 mm.
