The "Contessa Active 40 purple" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a versatile mountain bike characterised by its robust construction and high-quality components. The frame is made from the Contessa Active 700/900 series of 6061 alloy custom tubing, ensuring high stability and durability. With a maximum load capacity of 128 kg and a kerb weight of 14 kg, the bike provides a solid foundation for a variety of riding conditions.

The Tektro HDM276 hydraulic disc brakes, with 160 mm rotors at the front and rear, ensure reliable braking performance and safety. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Altus RD-M2000 with 18 speeds, operated by Shimano SL-M2010 shift levers, enabling precise and smooth gear changes. The front derailleur is a Shimano FD-M2020-TS, which ensures smooth shifting performance.

The Suntour XCT30-HLO fork, with 100 mm of travel and a hydraulic lockout, offers comfort and control on uneven terrain. The Shimano FC-MT2102 crankset, featuring a 2-piece design and a gear ratio of 36x22, and the Shimano CS-HG200-9 cassette with 11-36T, complement the drivetrain, which is completed by a KMC X9 chain.

The Syncros Savona 2.5 V-Concept saddle and the Syncros 3.0 seatpost, with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm, ensure comfort on long rides. The bike’s dimensions are well suited to female riders between 170 cm and 180 cm in height.
