Scott Contessa Active 40 pruple

The 2024 "Contessa Active 40 purple" model from Scott offers solid specifications and appealing technology at a price of 799 EUR. The frame is from the Contessa Active 700/900 series and is made from 6061 alloy custom tubing. It features a 135 mm OLD, a BSA73 bottom bracket, internal cable routing and a replaceable derailleur hanger. The bike is suitable for female riders between 150 cm and 160 cm tall.

For the brakes, Scott has opted for the Tektro HDM276 hydraulic disc brake system, fitted to both the front and rear, with 160 mm brake discs. The gear system is provided by the Shimano Altus RD-M2000 with 18 speeds, supported by Shimano SL-M2010 shift levers with 2-way release and gear indicator, as well as a Shimano FD-M2020-TS front derailleur.

The Suntour XCT30-HLO fork, featuring a hydraulic lockout and 100 mm of travel, ensures ample comfort and control on uneven terrain. The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-MT500, Hollowtech II, combined with the Shimano FC-MT2102 crankset. The drivetrain consists of a KMC X9 chain and a Shimano CS-HG200-9 cassette with 11–36T.
