The Contessa 16’s frame is made from JR16 V-Brake 6061 aluminium alloy, featuring a curved top tube and a semi-integrated head tube, which provides additional stability. The rigid, BMX-style fork is made from HiTen steel and features 16-inch V-brake pivots, which ensure reliable braking performance. The bike’s total weight is just 7 kg, making it easy for children to handle. The maximum load capacity is 50 kg.

The bike is fitted with V-brakes at both the front and rear, with the brake levers specially developed for children by Tektro. These are easy to operate and provide safe braking performance. The Contessa 16 features a simple single-speed drivetrain, making it easier for young riders to operate. The crankset is from Prowheel and has a 28T chainring with a length of 102mm. The rims are made of black aluminium and each have 20 spokes, which are also black. The tyres are Kenda K841 Contact models in size 16x2.25", fitted to both the front and rear. The hubs are by KT; the front hub is the KT-183F model and the rear hub is the KT-A13R model with a 16-tooth freewheel sprocket.

The saddle is a Syncros Contessa JR16, mounted on an aluminium seatpost measuring 26.8x200mm. The bike is also fitted with a handy kickstand.
