Scott Axis eRIDE FS 10

The "Axis eRIDE FS 10" model from Scott, released in 2024, is a high-performance e-mountain bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 6,999 EUR, it offers a wide range of high-quality components and technical features designed to deliver both performance and comfort.

The frame of the Axis eRIDE FS 10 is made from a robust aluminium alloy and is available in sizes S–XL. It is equipped with a Virtual 4 Link Kinematic (VLK) system, which provides 140 mm of travel. The frame supports Boost 148x12 mm axles and features an integrated Bosch 750 Wh battery as well as internal cable routing. The maximum rider weight is 128 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 28 kg.

The bike is suitable for riders between 185 cm and 195 cm in height. It is fitted with Shimano BR-MT520 4-piston disc brakes at the front and rear, which, in combination with 203 mm brake discs (SM-RT64 CL at the front and RT-EM600 CL at the rear), ensure excellent braking performance. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano RD M8130SGS Linkglide with 11 speeds, controlled by Shimano XT shifters. A SCOTT chain guide system ensures that the chain always stays securely on the chainring.

Suspension is provided by a FOX AWL fork with 140 mm of travel and remote lockout, as well as a FOX Float eRIDE trunnion shock, also with 140 mm of travel. These components ensure a smooth ride even on uneven terrain.

Lighting is provided by an integrated Supernova M99 Mini Pure-25 front light with 600 lumens and a Supernova rear light, ensuring good visibility in all lighting conditions. The pedals are VP VPE-506, and the crankset is an FSA CK-745 IS GEN4 MTB with a crank arm length of 170 mm. The Shimano CS-LG600-11 cassette offers a gear range of 11–50T.

The handlebars are Syncros 3.0, with a width of 720 mm, a rise of 20 mm and a backsweep of 8 degrees. It is mounted on a Syncros FL3.0 stem with a length of 70 mm, which also features mounts for the front light and the Bosch Kiox 300 display. The steering system is supported by an Acros headset.

The rims are Syncros MD30s with 32 spokes and a width of 30 mm, which are tubeless-ready. The tyres are Schwalbe Johnny Watts 29x2.35" Wired, which provide good grip and stability. The hubs are Formula CL-811 at the front and Formula MSC-148S at the rear, both in Boost specification.

The saddle is a Syncros Capilano mounted on a Syncros FL3.0 seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm. Mudguards made from Alumee aluminium profiles protect against dirt, whilst an Ursus kickstand ensures stability when parked. An Axis EVO luggage rack from Racktime SnapIt 2.0, with a load capacity of up to 15 kg, rounds off the specification.

The bike’s drive is powered by a Bosch Performance CX motor, which provides assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h. Power is supplied by a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 750 Wh, which is charged via a 4A charger. The Bosch LED Remote & Kiox 300 display provides all the necessary information whilst riding.

The bike’s dimensions include a reach of 488 mm, a stack of 650 mm, a seat tube length of 540 mm and a top tube length of 665 mm. The head tube angle is 65 degrees, whilst the seat tube angle is 75 degrees. Further dimensions include a head tube length of 145 mm, a chainstay length of 465 mm, a bottom bracket drop of 30 mm, a fork offset of 44 mm, a top tube height of 810 mm, a fork installation height of 547 mm, a crank length of 170 mm and a wheelbase of 1290 mm.
