Lapierre Xelius SL 8.0

The "Xelius SL 8.0" model from the Lapierre brand from 2022 is a racing bike that is characterised by its high-quality workmanship and modern equipment. With a price of EUR 5899, it is positioned in the upper segment and is aimed at ambitious cyclists who value performance and quality. The frame of the Xelius SL 8.0 is made of New Xelius SL Disc thru axle UD Superlight Carbon, which ensures low weight and high stability. The fork is also made from the same material, which contributes to the overall performance of the bike.

The shifting group consists of the electronic Shimano Ultegra Di2, which is known for its precise and fast gear changes. The front derailleur is the FD-R8150F model and the shifting mechanism is supported by the Shimano Ultegra Di2 BR8170 shifters, which enable 2x12-speed shifting. The crankset is also from Shimano Ultegra and offers different crank arm lengths depending on the frame size. The bottom bracket is equipped with the Shimano Press Fit SMBB7241B, while the Shimano Ultegra CS-R8100 cassette with a gradation of 11-30T offers a wide gear ratio.

The drivetrain is completed by the Shimano M7100 12s, which ensures reliable power transmission. The handlebars are made of Lapierre UD carbon and vary in width depending on the frame size to ensure optimum ergonomics. This is complemented by the Lapierre Vexgel handlebar tape, which provides additional comfort. The stem is also from Lapierre and is available in different lengths to meet the individual needs of the rider.

The wheels are the New Lapierre Road Disc 38 622x21 Carbon Center Lock Tubeless Ready, which are fitted with Continental GP5000S Tubeless Ready tyres. This combination offers excellent road holding and rolling resistance. The saddle of the model is the Fizik Argo Vento R5, mounted on a lightweight Lapierre carbon seatpost, which comes in a diameter of 27.2mm and a length of 350mm.
