Lapierre Xelius SL 7.0

The "Xelius SL 7.0" model from Lapierre from 2022 offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and high-quality equipment for ambitious cyclists. The frame of the bike is made of New Xelius SL Disc thru axle UD Superlight Carbon, which ensures outstanding lightness and stiffness and thus guarantees optimum riding characteristics. The fork is also made from this lightweight carbon material, which further reduces the overall weight of the bike.

The Xelius SL 7.0 is equipped with electronic gears from Shimano, the Ultegra Di2 RD-R8150A, which offers precise and reliable shifting performance with 12 gears. The shift levers are the Shimano Ultegra BR8020 2x11s in the flat mount version with fin, which are characterised by excellent ergonomics. The front derailleur is also from Shimano, the Ultegra Di2 FD-R8150F model, which ensures fast and smooth gear changes.

The bottom bracket is a Shimano Press Fit SMBB7241B, while the crankset is a Shimano Ultegra FC-R8150 with 52-36T chainrings. The length of the crank arms varies depending on the frame size: 170mm for XS/S, 172.5mm for M/L and 175mm for XL. The cassette is a Shimano Ultegra CS-R8100 with a gradation of 11-30T and 12 gears, which enables a wide range of gear ratios.

The handlebars are made of Lapierre UD Carbon and are available in different widths: 400mm for XS/S and 420mm for M/L/XL. The handlebar tape is the comfortable Lapierre Vexgel tape. The stem is also from Lapierre and has a -5.7° angle, whereby the length varies depending on the frame size: 90mm for XS/S, 100mm for M, 110mm for L and 120mm for XL. The headset is an Acros Integrated with Xelius Acros spacers.

Contact with the road is provided by Schwalbe One Raceguard Tubeless Easy tyres in size 700x25, which are mounted on a DT Swiss E1800 Spline 32 wheelset that is Center Lock Tubeless Ready. The saddle is a Fizik Argo Vento R5, which is mounted on a lightweight Lapierre carbon seatpost with a diameter of 27.2mm and a length of 350mm. The package is rounded off with VP-335 Clips&Strap pedals.
