Lapierre Trekking 1.0

The 2022 Trekking 1.0 model from Lapierre is a versatile bike that is ideal for both everyday use and longer rides. Priced at 479 euros, it offers good value for money. The bike’s frame is made from Trekking 700c Supreme 4 Alloy, ensuring a sturdy yet lightweight construction. The brakes are Alhonga V-brakes, which provide reliable stopping power in a variety of weather conditions.

The gear system comprises a Shimano RD-TY300D 7-speed rear derailleur and Shimano STEF41 3x7-speed shifters, complemented by a Shimano Tourney FD-TY300 front derailleur. These components enable precise and smooth gear changes. The bike’s fork is an RST NEON-T 700c with V-brakes and 60 mm of travel, providing extra comfort on uneven roads.

The spec is rounded off by Xerama SP-877 pedals and a 122.5 mm square bottom bracket. The crankset is a Shimano TY301 with three chainrings (48-38-28T) and is available in different lengths depending on frame size (170 mm for S/M/L and 175 mm for XL/XXL). The cassette is a Shimano TZ500 with a 14-28T range for the 7-speed drivetrain.

The drivetrain is supported by an S50 1/2"x3/32" chain with 7 speeds. The handlebars are AL-078 aluminium bars with a width of 600 mm, a rise of 45 mm and a backsweep of 45°, which allows for a comfortable riding position. The grips are Herrmans DD08, 120 mm in length. The stem is also made of aluminium (AS-DC1) and has an angle of 15° and a length of 75 mm.

The steering system is complemented by the FSA NO.10 semi-integrated headset. The rims are Lapierre Double Wall with 32 spokes and a size of 21-622, fitted with Mitas Hook tyres in size 700x40c. The front hub is a KT-AF15F made of aluminium with 32 spokes, whilst the rear hub is a KT-AF12R made of aluminium, also with 32 spokes.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Wave, mounted on an aluminium seatpost (SP-C208) with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 350 mm. This combination ensures comfort even on longer rides. Overall, the Lapierre Trekking 1.0 is a well-equipped bike that is suitable for both city riding and trips into the countryside.
